First we will get off the ferry and visit the village of Kioni. The picturesque village was built in the late 16th century and preserves some renaissance architectural features. Then, the Kathara Monastery will give you the chance to enjoy the view form the top of Niritos Mountain all the way to Kefalonia.

Third stop will be Filiatro beach with its crystal clear waters and white pebbles, the ideal spot where you can bathe with your loved ones. Final stop will be Vathy Village, the capital of calm Ithaca, a traditional settlement that combines unique architecture with a cosmopolitan ambience.

Detailed Itinerary

1st stop: Kioni Village

The picturesque village was built in the late 16th century and preserves some Renaissance architectural features. The settlement overlooks the harbor and the view will take your breath away!

2nd stop: Kathara Monastery

The Monastery of the Kathara, pilgrimage and reference point for all inhabitants of Ithaca, is built on top of mount Niritos offering a vantage point from where you can gaze all the way to southern Ithaca and Kefalonia.

3rd stop: Filiatro Beach

The beach is pebbled and the water in Filiatro is amazing: transparent, turquoise and clear all year round. It is a cosmopolitan beach which offers umbrellas but there is space where you can set up yours. The bay of Filiatro is long and it is ideal for families with children.

Final stop: Vathy Village

The capital and the main harbour of Ithaca since the 16th century, this picturesque village is built amphitheatrically around a bay with a narrow entrance. It is a traditional settlement that combines unique architecture with a cosmopolitan feel. It offers a diverse variety of cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops

1. The starting time of the trips on your site is preset at 9:00 or 17:00 o’clock. Can I choose another starting time?

The daily tours that indicate a starting time at 9:00 a.m. can also start from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and the afternoon tours with a starting time at 17:00 can also start at 18:00. In both cases, you have to mention your request on the booking platform in the field “Comments”.

2. Can I make a custom-made tour according to my needs?

Of course. You only have to send us an email, in order to discuss your ideas and your preferences and make a tour adapted to your needs.

3. Do you have a specific meeting point or can you pick us up from our accommodation?

We offer free pick-ups from hotels located in the wider area of Argostoli, Lassi and Lourdas. However, there is an extra charge for hotel pick-ups from different areas.
